Parris Campbell on expectations for him in Dallas - Coach wants to be physical, tough and fast

Well, that is what a lot of fans do. I understand some fans frustration and to vent.
I am excited for the changes and to see if anything improves on the field.
Will wait until after the draft to see if they improve on paper.
This post was so refreshing!!!

Or we can just complain and make jokes about them instead of letting them turn things around
We would probably quit complaining and making jokes if they turned things around but I am optimistic with the coaching staff, I believe they will turn things around

Sounds like a good guy off the field!

But lets face it...we know what he is on the field: he'll wow everyone in training camp...maybe even a preseason game or 2, enough to get the Zany Zoners growling, and then during the regular season he'll just be kind of a low end #3 wr (or an average #4 wr, if ur a half glass full kind of guy)
I hope Campbell can take the top off of these defenses ,and help this running game .If the safetys are chasing wide receivers down the field these running backs will feast.

I'd drop my expectations for Campbell a bit. Very good depth signing with some flashy upside, but he isnt going to go from career JAG wr to drawing attention to free up the run game. Honestly hes more of a slot guy to begin with where he will have competition with Lamb and Turpin just to get on the field.

Dallas needs to draft a wide receiver that can fly bottom line. Cee Dee will take over in this league if they draft a deep threat.

I'm wondering if the Cowboys are planning on using Campbell like they did Noah Brown all those years. A possession receiver that can help out on special teams.

On his interview posted on the official site he said his career hasn't gone as he hoped after being a second round pick, but he sounds like a real pro and a real team player. Humble guy that will put in all the work needed. Rooting for him.
He does have good hands. He doesn’t drop many. He does kinda fit that possession type reciever. I think he could be a bit like brown was. Not a one or two but a guy that can contribute some. Just not sure about snaps. I’m hoping we draft a WR early. So he and lamb would be your 1&2, Turpin is gonna get snsps because of his playmaking ability but not necessarily your number 3 all the time. That could be were he gets a chance

I’m hoping we take a WR at 12 who is the guy who helps not only the run game but takes some pressure and double teams of Lamb. We are in a good spot to get a nice young WR

I would agree. I think WR is a prime option at 12 or even in a slight trade down.
