not saying that Diggs and Parsons shouldn't be accountable. Everyone is accountable for their play

I do however believe that it's reasonable to hold your highest paid guys and/or team captains to a higher standard. I expect more from those guys and I assume most other folks do as well

Yet Parsons and Diggs are basically unanimously dumped on by forum members, while Dak has a devoted faction of defenders that will perform mental gymnastics trying to protect him from any criticism

I don’t rank QBs. I look at their numbers, passer rating and winning percentage. Bad QBs don’t remain starters for 9 years and receive two huge contract extensions. Parsons and Diggs don’t think Dak’s play so far this season is good enough to crack the top 10 and they’re correct.

Sure you don't. I'm sure you've never said Dak is a top <insert number> qb. Anyway based on all the metrics you just listed, Dak is bottom 3rd this year. So yeah, they don't think he's good.

If you were playing golf, tennis, or arm-wrestling.....you'd have me on this. But if you're equating money with performance.....more needed since accountability is apparently excluding 9 others on the field (outside of Cee Dee).
Bring in Cooper or Trey Lance......see how that works out. That's how simple it is, and I'll be called a Cooper or Trey lover for repeating the claim. It doesn't remove critique from the QB, it just doesn't heap all the mess just on that position.

This would be like calling Jerry a "football man" because he's refused to step down for 30 years. The same 'football man" who is the only one who would keep Dak a starter for 9 years and give him two contract extensions. This is embarrassing and as the QB I would be pissed. Say what you want about Dak, he has never thrown a teammate under the bus. I can promise you that when asked a similar question about corners he would put Diggs up there even though he isn’t. Because he is a good teammate
