Parson's doesn't think Henry would have helped

Parsons is assuming the same circumstances that unfolded this past season. He didn't consider the change in those circumstances that Henry's presence would have created.

For example, the entire opponent defense wouldn't be keyed on the passing game. They would be forced to dedicate resources to stop Henry. Dak was injured on a 3rd and ten play. There is a strong probability that Dak's body wouldn't have taken such a constant beating if the Cowboys had a RB that other teams feared,

I know that Dak's injury was "non-contact". However, he was attempting to evade a pass rush and doing that 40 timers a game cab wear the body down enough that they become more vulnerable to those types of injuries.

The more Henry would run, the less Dak would pass. Ideally, you don't want Dal throwing more than 30 passes a game.

Both Romo and Dak had their best seasons when their RB led the league in rushing yards.

Parsons is our new GM. Can't blame the guy for seeing the rot in this franchise. But it's ironic that he complains about not making moves, yet they wouldn't have made a difference in his words. He will be a Commander after this next season. Trade him. And I hate saying it. I've got his jersey AND paid alot for a signed throwback helmet. But we'd blow the picks anyway.

I disagree. He would have helped because we would not have signed Elliott and his 1.5 yard average. Now that the Cowboys has a new coach bent on running the ball they could have used him to build their offense around him.
too many holes to fill on both sides of the ball though..there is zero chance Henry would be as effective as he was with the Ravens

Dowdle rushes for 1,000, what would DH rushed for?

The line seemed to get better once ZM sat.
And Elliott was awful, so Henry and Dowdle would have been a much better one-two punch. Because of our injuries, he may not have bought us more than a couple of victories, though.

Bingo..!! I thought same thing. It was JUST that type of year.

Hangover from being embarrassed at home and bad luck.

No one is saying that he would have been effective as he is with the Ravens. All we wanted was someone who was more capable of running the ball than Elliott. Jerry didn't even call him. Instead we resigned Elliott and we all know how that turned out.

If he was here our run game would have been a whole lot better. It would have been one less hole to fill.

BREAKING NEWS: What did Jerry say?? WE DON'T RUN THE OFFENSE that they run loll lol lol

Micah's not wrong.

Cowboys were 28th in Defense (31st in points, 17th passing, 29th rushing).

Henry wasn't making that disappear.

Parsons needs to just tackle and get pressure. Anyone suggesting Henry wouldn't have made an impact, after the past season has an extra chromosome. As good as Rico was, that was pretty much half a season.
