You guys have something wrong in your head to turn this into a Dak thread. A little self evaluation is in order.

I don't blame them. Dak has a lot to do with what's wrong with the run game. People that can't see that have rocks in their head.

With Henry the Cowboys possibly make the playoffs only to get exposed and blown out in the wild card round.

All things considered, I'll just stick with the 12th pick and hope 2025 turns out better.

I was actually getting used the tradition!

Great regular season, make the playoffs and get embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs!

It made going to work the next day very enjoyable!

maybe the fact that we were facing some lousy defenses late in the season had something to do with it.

The answer is obvious. He absolutely would have made a huge difference. The cowboys could not run the ball the first 8-9 weeks. They barely tried. Dowdle ran for over 1k yard in was basically a part time role for half the season. If Henry was in the backfield from game 1, there would have been a commitment to the run.....which may have preserved Dak's health and taken pressure off the defense.

Dowdle averaged 4.6 YPC. Prolly about the same as Henry would have.

The difference is there was no commitment to Dowdle until halfway through the season. At least with Henry from game 1, there would have been a commitment to run the ball from day 1 which would have opened up play acton and made Dak's life a lot easier.

It can work both ways. Just look at Saquan. He did nothing in NY for 5 years. He finally gets on a team with a decent QB and OL, and look what happens. Hurts isn't a better QB than Dak, particularly in the regular season.

The line seemed to get better once ZM sat.

Probably around 1300 yards because he would have been carrying most of the load from the start of the season. We still would have missed the playoffs. The defense was dreadful the first half of the season and injuries would have still caught up to us. Lucky for him the Cowboys showed no interest.

Henry would have gotten beat-up to the point that he too would have been put of the IR for some type of season ending injury..............

and when martin was out , but mike still wouldnt call enough run plays, and was predictable.
