Parsons falls - 5 Round Mock

TO ME, I think Parsons is the 1 guy I see falling down the board come April. Teams will be hesitant to draft a linebacker that high. Corner and oline is really deep and will be prioritized by teams, as well as QB. Factoring this in, he falls. I see him falling all the way down to the mid 20's in round 1. I think that is where he should be drafted in the first place. A team like Cleveland or Jville might take him.

I feel most players have some sort of flaw they'll need to work on. Trevor Lawrence will go 1st overall and is a great prospect, but it doesn't mean he's flawless.

Parsons isn't a can't miss generational-guaranteed Ray Lewis/Bobby Wagner type LB but he definitely has the potential to be up there.

My only concern with him would be that he got by on athletics in college more so than reading the play. Not exactly a college fault, I just hope if we take him he doesn't get that Jaylon mindset that he's some superstar, muh stats and continues to randomly shoot holes instead of covering his gap assignment.

^^This^^ ..You gotta be a Ray Lewis type to get drafted in the top 10. He's not that. He's a speedy sideline to sideline guy. He doesnt fill gaps very well. Slow to see the play. We already have 3 linebackers like that lol..we dont need another. Give me a mid round guy like KJ Britt and I would be very happy. He is a complete player..very physical, an alpha dawg. Like Anthony Hitchens was for us. We need that. When we lost Hitch, it showed. We have never replaced him. The idea I heard of Jaylon playing MLB is a terrible idea. I dont want him making my defensive calls/reads. Jaylon needs to be used as a pass rush specialist off the edge IMO..He may have a role there. Give him 1 job..go get the QB from time to time.

Dane Brugler thinks Parsons is worth the 10th overall pick.

I’m biased to PSU. But the talent level is clear.

The only reason he may drop is because of the position he plays IMO and/or the possible character concerns.

To be honest I want to see what we do with free agents. We bring in some defensive tackles. Parsons could be a monster.
