He probably would be an outstanding RB but would you want to risk our best defensive player and pass rusher to play RB? He’s beginning to look worn out with the role he has on defense and has suffered several nicks this season including this past Sunday. He would be completely beat up and wouldn’t be as effective on defense if we gave him snaps at RB. It would be a great opportunity for opponents to injure him so we lose him on defense. I can’t imagine the Cowboys would be foolish enough to risk him at RB.
No, and there is no need for Parsons to play that role as RB unless its an emergency situation.
My reply was directed specifically towards the amount of non called obvious holding vs Parsons in every game.

Micah Parsons could be a shut down cornerback in the NFL if that's what he wanted to do. I agree with posters here though. Although it would be nice to have Adrian Peterson at RB. That's not what we need to win right now.

Probably just for fun. But I could see him lining up as a fb, slipping out and catching a td that would be pretty cool. :)

If we make it to the NFCCG / Super Bowl level of playoffs, I can see Parsons getting some offensive snaps. Why not? Or should we just wait another 28 years.

Parson made the initial comment after running the ball in for a TD against the Bears. I think this is more tongue and check than reality.

I wonder if we'll actually see it. I'd bet he's better at it than Saquan.

Micah Parsons is one of the most dynamic athletes in the NFL.

With that in mind, it's not out of the question that he could play multiple positions at the highest level.

The defensive superstar was recently spotted at Cowboys practice taking snaps as a running back. He was asked if this eyebrow-raising practice routine had any possible validity moving forward.

Aaron Rodgers blocked on a play...

Keeping the excitement level up for modern era players is part of team chemistry. Modern era players don't respond need more 'carrot' and less 'stick' than in the past.

I think that's why they played Parsons and other starters even after the Vikings game was well in hand.

I remember how excited Zeke was a few years ago about blocking for Pollard on a run play.

I disagree.

I'm kind of like. Well, yeah . . . in trash time, if we're up 24 points with 8 minutes left, I kind of want to see this.

Or even more, if you're not just trying to sell more tickets, if we're down 17 with 8 minutes left. Why not?
If we're down 17 with 8 minutes left someone needs to be fired regardless of whether Parsons is on the field or not

I hope he gets carries just to watch the soy boys cry about it.

Football's a man's game. Played by men.
Men aren't insecure enough to use stupid terms like "soy boy."

People, they're just having some fun out there. He's not going to line up as a RB, and if he ever does, he's not getting the ball.
