Between him and Diggs we got two guys doing some pretty crazy rare type stuff.
Parsons has everything.
He has the kind of moves that takes years for coaches to teach a typical player. They come naturally to him like a born instinct. The hand movements, the body twists, leverage, pursuit, tackling, this guy was born to be an NFL linebacker. He came straight out of the science lab of some evil football genius.
Now add the speed of a cornerback and the power of a DE and think about that for a moment.. Did you shudder too?
But something is wrong. This never happens to us. We get teased for a couple years by one or two players, but nothing like the potential in Parsons. What is in the minds of those malevolent football gods?
He's too good to be true. What is his kryptonite? I hope no one ever finds out.
Hey, 27 years of purely mediocre football, you can hardly blame me for being just a tad paranoid.
L. Taylor?All Pro
DROY
DPOY
Has that ever been accomplished?
All three in the same year?Lawrence Taylor did it.
Me too , I had enough of Jaylon and LVE and hoping we get a wagner clone in Parsons.thanks for posting and I was on the Parsons train before we drafted him and wanted him over CB and Slater. That said he's exceeded my expectations thus far. he is the very definition of a beast. so quick with his closing speed. That sack of Hill last night was sweet to watch
Looking forward to following his careerI was researching something on the pressures put on QB's, and with each search, Parsons name was brought up in multiple articles. I see the comments by the fans here, and it doesn't seem to be enough. This season will be one for the books, and we will be talking about it for a long time.
The ups and downs of the 2021 campaign are agonizing, now more than not.
But what a great aspect is, this kid is reshaping the front seven defender as he switches from position to position.
Bob Lilly was maybe the best I have seen. I cannot tell you how many times he would be double teamed, and then the offense would still chip him with a running back.
But I have never seen anything like Parsons. People talk about LT, and he was scary good. But I am beginning to think there are things this kid is doing even LT couldn't.
Now imagine Parsons in a 3/4 defensive front. Coming off that edge with his speed. LT didn't come close to Micah's top end. And his hand fighting techniques, as a rookie, are off the charts.
What a great player. And this is just the beginning.

I worry that he'll burn himself out...or worse...but hey, I'm a pessimist by nature.Parsons has everything.

I was wondering about him. Pretty good company.Lawrence Taylor did it.
Yes - 8 time All-Pro - guy was a monster - absolutely hated the giants but dayum that guy was unreal, played with a real violence. All three in the same year?
Oh, I remember him well. Even though he was a Giant, I loved watching him play...even painted a picture of him for my nephew who's a Giants fan. I just never knew (or more likely heard it but just forgot) that he'd won all 3 awards in the same year.Yes - 8 time All-Pro - guy was a monster - absolutely hated the giants but dayum that guy was unreal, played with a real violence.
Guy didn't invent that tomahawk chop but pretty much perfected it - brought that hand down like he wanted to break the other guys arm.

Wow, are you referencing the "Nobody likes me, everybody hates me" song? If so, you're the only person outside of my family that I've ever met who did! Wait...MOM???Then eat some worms.

No, but maybe we have a small window to maybe sniff the Super Bowl. Just saying. Can we start sniffing the Superbowl with all of these great players?
Just asking.
