So, let me get this straight (from a few of the posters in here). Parsons is very overrated, yet we should trade him for a "heap of draft picks"........because NFL teams would like to sell their farm for a "very overrated" player?

Makes sense!

He’s one dimensional on a good day. He isn’t a game changer, pouts when times are tough, falls considerably in the back half of the season. In no way should he ever be compared to the all time greats
If the Boys had a decent GM, Parsons would be history after this of season. A GM like the one's both the 9ers and Eagles have could easily get a couple of high draft picks for him, which could result in the Cowboys drafting real pieces to a championship team, but unfortunately we're stuck with a wannabe GM who sits in his box and plays "BACK SLAPPING" games with his two clueless sons.............. I'm so tired of watching RBs run through Parsons' lousy arm tackles.

He doesn’t make as many eye popping plays as he did earlier in his career. Opponents have figured out ways to neutralize him.

No, he is not. That is factually incorrect.

He is one of the best defensive players in the NFL, and has the tape and the stats to back it up.

This guy won us the Seahawks game… he won us the chargers game. In several other games he’s stopped drives nearly by pressuring the qb….. he makes the quarterback get rid of the ball quickly by himself.

It is not his fault nobody else is making plays at times. He is one person.

By the way that was a pretty dam good Miami offense we held to 20 points yesterday

HAHA you all laughed when I and others like Floatyworm told you that we needed to trade Parsons when the NFL world believed he was the next LT. Now he gets swallowed up and pushed around on at least half of his plays. Yesterday I saw play after play where he was nowhere near the ball.

If he were playing MLB shutting down these runs and blitzing at times, he would indeed be a great game changer.

Some of us tried to tell y'all this, but you were too busy screaming about him being a pass rusher.
I would move him around and let him rush on passing downs a large amount of the time, but play middle LB otherwise. I dont think you can waste his rushing skills. He's literally off the charts.

This is insanity.

He is basically getting the same treatment Shaquille O'Neal got when he first started dominating the NBA. They would tell him he's too big and he's too powerful and just ignore that players were breaking the rules and committing actual fouls.

I said it on X (Twitter), if I'm Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, I open every press conference with a highlight reel of egregious calls involving Micah Parsons and ask when will Roger Goodall respond to their concerns.
I believe not only you correct we should do that it's the referees themselves we literally should have their pictures from every game up after every game with how many egregious calls they either missed or called that were bad with their names under it in a way to contact them that would be all too funny maybe they ought to be held accountable maybe they need stats just like the players have so you can look them up online to see how many call they missed how many bad calls they drop flags on that weren't real how many games they affected blah blah blah

that never will happen but I believe Parsons is getting frustrated he's getting irritated this is starting to bother him that he's being not just held a little bit some of those plays like we see with with the two arm bars it's being held by two players would easily have been a sack and yet they're not being called like I get why they might not call some of the ticky tack ones or the ones that are way away from the play but there needs to be at least one every game called and I think mentally he's being he's exhausted from trying to fight through double teams where he's being held and I think it's getting to him I think he's starting to give it a little bit he's not trying as hard because I mean he's going to these games where it's so unfair that no matter what he does he's not gonna get a sack...

Do you ever watch the guy? He's literally tackled on about half his pass rushes. He's going to have to learn how to break tackles again like he did in high school or he's never going to accomplish anything. The refs are mad at him for calling them out for their incompetence and they aint callin holding against him unless someone puts a gun to their heads.
I'm still very confused on how the league is allowing this I mean I can understand why they don't wanna call everyone of them but the ones that are blatant where he's being arm barred or held by two dudes at the same time being put in near chokeholds because they stick their arm out because he's already passed them and somehow it's not being called those have to be called it is not fair to the player to play so hard trying to earn a living and his next contract is being affected his sack totals and stuff for his career his Hall of Fame type push are being affected by them allowing the other team to cheat... And on the other side we watch our offensive lineman have ticky tack calls against him in that same game... Where you're literally trying to find the hold and it's very difficult to find whereas Parsons are right out there like he was in a photo shoot like look here I am call call it call it

No one has any common sense they think we can get a King's ransom for the guy who is it very good... He is nearly unblockable especially one-on-one and he's being held excessively this isn't us complaining because it happens all around the league so we're not trying to ask for special attention and we're not like whining and crying this man deserves a couple of flags a game I mean you I don't see how a player that has this many screenshots of him being held isn't getting more love from the referees they have to see it they have to be being told about it and yet they don't care

If you ever become GM of the Cowboys, I would finally be out. How ridiculous. You can't even recognize the dude who is usually the best player on the field.

He'd be an extreme game changer at MLB.
I disagree. His instincts are not very good. He IS a good ball chaser, but a MLB should be a guy who studies, has the instincts, and beats the OL to the point of attack.

I have said it before. Parsons absolute best position is OLB/primary pass rusher in a 3-4 defense.

He would be great in a league that didn't allow running plays.

You put him in a flag football team....and he'd be amazing.

Problem in the NFL is, smart teams run right at him, and even a sturdy Tight End can rag doll him on run plays... partly because Micah is small and partly because Micah goess 100% for the pass rush on every play, even if it's like 3rd and half a yard. He knows guys get contracts for sacks, not for being a well rounded run defender. He's fine if teams run it down our throats for 300 yds on the ground....as long as he gets his sack, even if we're getting blown out.

I would like to see what Micah's statistics would be if the game was officiated correctly and consistently he's held every play and I guess because he's voiced his opinion he gets no calls at all.

If I'm Jerry I go to the league office with the tape matter of fact if I have Jerry's money I just stopped playing until it's fixed they're neutering one of the absolute best players in the league and negating all his attributes by letting him be held on every play it is an unjust sacrilege to the game

It's almost like if they are going to consistently let the opponents bend the rules and neutralize him you might as well trade him if he has blackballed himself to the point where he can only be half the player that he really is either that or maybe it's our team that they are out to get not sure what it is but the officiating is not consistent regarding holding
