Honestly, I think this will be his biggest challenge as a rookie........there's a thin line between blocking and holding but there's also a thin line of what referees will allow and even thinner what they will allow a rookie to get away with. Finding a balance from the pass rushers he will face to the type of referees calling his game may take a while for him to adjust.

I think he could be a real stud at guard right now and could be a really good LT when he develops

Obviously I'm generalizing and mostly joking there, but its important to understand the difference between those that are here to start trouble and piss vinegar vs those that are here to have somewhat intelligent discussion as to the state of the team, not all of which is a rose bouquet.

It's not like fans haven't heard this before. In fact, we hear it all the time and it happens with every team. They are all expected to sell the excitement of an upcoming season because the owners expect that.

Wouldn't be the first time they talk about what happened in the OTA, at camp or practice and that does not become evident in the real games against better competition.

Any player negative on his team or any of his teammates at this point needs to find other work.

The challenge of Cowboys fans is this team revolves around the spins and the owner trying to fill half empty glasses so anything that might be righteously positive is suspect.

Everything about this team is wait and see regardless of which side a fan is on now.

He's likely not a LT. Right now. And he's not likely ready for the NFL level pass rush with pads on right now.

What we said was that his technique was raw at LT. But that it was polished enough to play guard right now, because you play in space. And that's where some of his weaknesses can be seen, when he's in space.

My point is that everyone was writing him off as a possible starter WITHOUT even seeing him in OTAs, training camp, and preseason.

We never know who we drafted and some college players transition from college to NFL better than others. He could possibly be one of those players.

Not a single member here was even open to the idea which just goes to show how close minded this forum can be.
