We are a better team with him than without him but what's his value? The 2022 tag for LBers $18M. The Ravens just resigned R Smith for $20M. We know he's not getting these numbers. Maybe a one-year prove-it deal $10-12M???

LVE has been a pleasant surprise, the dude is just balling right now.

I think you gotta resign the dude, our run defense is total crap when LVE is not in the lineup.

I think they will be able to work something out with LVE. He is a good fit for Quinn's scheme, so staying in Dallas will likely maximize his value. 3 Years - $25M - $10M guaranteed.

I’d let him walk if I felt comfortable with the FO replacing him with a high quality MLB. I like how we draft but it’s so risky to depend on getting one in rounds 2-4.

LvE has always been good for Dallas when healthy (aside from the Nolan days…). I think the Cowboys should do everything they can to re-sign him but I’m not gonna lie, I would be holding my breath for the next injury much like Sean Lee.
