LVE is a risk investment that Dallas is very unlikely to make unless LVE wants to stay and take a discount.

In the draft you happen to have two very possible replacements that fit the mold.
Drew Sanders MLB Sanders highlights
or
Jack Campbell MLB Campbell
You really don’t want to go into the draft having glaring needs if you can avoid it. You never know if those guys will be available for you. I bet they will come to terms on at least a 1 year deal.

1 year prove it deal? Didn’t LVE just prove it? Why the heck would he sign a 1 year prove it deal?
He’s played in 14/18 games this year and has averaged 7 tackles/game with only 1 sack, 1 FF, and 3 PBUs. He’s not exactly having a contract year. I can see him sign another 1 or 2 year deal.

LVE has been disrespected since he’s been here. That’s just more proof on how many idiots troll these boards.
You wanna talk disrespect - how about Jerry and the front office - all they offered him was a 1 year for 2 million dollars...

Why do you think they drafted Parsons.

Now has he played better the latter part of the season - yes he has but do we really want to give him a big contract with his neck issue.

I would draft a first a MLB in the first - the position needs a stud, especially if you gonna go with jags at the DT positions.

Just take a look at what Roquan Smith has done for that Ravens D.

Chill. They didn’t give him a new deal for that exact reason. A new contract will have health protections. Relax.

We are a better team with him than without him but what's his value? The 2022 tag for LBers $18M. The Ravens just resigned R Smith for $20M. We know he's not getting these numbers. Maybe a one-year prove-it deal $10-12M???

I'd be OK with it if the price is right. It doesn't appear that they trust Cox and Barr probably won't be re-signed. LVE, Clark and Parsons would be our LB starters (well, Parsons at end and Kearse at LB in the fronts we use).

This year was a 1-year prove it deal. He proved it. It's important that they bring him back. The difference is drastic when he's out there vs when he isn't.
