Parsons won't win DPOY

Parsons can certainly win the DPOY award, but he really needs a standout game like Donald's in the Superbowl or how Nick Bosa took it to Tua last week. If the defense can shut down the Eagles and Parsons can sack Hurts a few times, he has a shot. But right now that seems like a long shot.

I mentioned the same in the Game thread. Hes either getting 2 sacks, or he's gonna dissappear. No in between with him.
Keep seeing this stuff about he disappears. Not getting sacks doesn't mean he disappears. He can impact the game in other ways like he did on that last drive. He did have 5 tackles, 2 solo today also.

Nor should he. Bosa is on a tear and is clearly better. Parsons looks worn down right now.

He honestly hasn’t played well the last two weeks. I’m not sure if he’s banged up or what
Saw him limping a lot in a couple games, and was clearly injured several games ago- so maybe theres an injury they are keeping quiet about

He couldn't run down their QB today on that outside run. I figured out then he is beat down. He really made almost zero plays today.

Teams are having to weaken parts of their team to handle him. Trick is exploiting what ever they are giving up to manage Parsons. He is also playing fairly bruised up and needs some rest. He will burn out like running backs do if he stays at the pace he is on.

He's wearing down right before our eyes. Not big enough to be a full time DEnd. Quinn needs to reevaluate how he's being used at this point.

I agree.

We have enough DE’s that this shouldn’t be a thing

He’s becoming a one trick pony. Multiple sacks in a game or he’s invisible. Becoming a Demarcus Lawrence clone
In fairness, he was playing against one of the better Left tackles today who did a great job. I was angry at Quinn for all the stupid blitzing too. Houston was running, RPO, or quick passes. All the stupid blitzing hurt us all game. Today, solid defense was the answer, not going for sacks that were not going to happen.

I blame DQ. Move him around and things will get better. Standing at End all game is not fooling anyone.
