He wants paying, he wont sign for another team that will pay him the same as his tender. he is playing out his tender in the hope that he can produce as a top DL and get a deal for about $12m per year.

I think with the suspension and injuries he's had, that he knows he won't get a huge offer from another team, most likely, and Dallas is a team on the upswing (most reasonable people think), and he's in a good spot, so he'll stay...

I prefer he stay here this year on the 2nd round tender - the risk/reward for this year is weighted to the reward side, particularly at the 2nd round tender money. But I wouldn't freak out if someone else signed him away and we get 2nd. The one thing I would absolutely not do at this point is commit a big ole contract to him.

Unless they are pay Irving $12m+ on a deal Irving will be a Cowboy in 2018, and if Suh comes for about $8m we will have a chance.
