Always concerned. I said this in another thread but losing Gregory might be worse than Dez. Only because we have nobody as quick twitch as he is. We have plenty of Mincy types. At least the O made a huge plunge with the 3 backs that can catch.

We lost our best pass rusher
It's certainly going to be a factor but just have to deal with it

We need to get pressure up the middle. If that means Coleman then we have to pull the trigger.

On another note for this weeks game it is very important to get Bradford early and often. I could see it in his eyes last night. We get to him and we win.

Yes, he is bad under pressure. Like real bad. If he keeps that up, its going to be a long season for Philly. But we have to dress 8-9 DL and run them in and out at every opp.

You would think that, but after he ate up the PS he was in a track suit in the last game for some odd reason!

Come again? I don't know what you just posted. lol

You mean he wasn't activated? Right. He needs to be for the next game imo.

How does everyone feel about our pass rush for the next 3 weeks without Gregory?

He showed plenty of potential on Sunday. The pass rush is pretty much a 2014 edition until RG and Hardy play.

Does anyone have a concern in this area? I know the WR addition has taken alot of the attention away from losing Gregory. Just wanted to see if anyone else is concerned in this area short term.

We need to control the clock and score touchdowns not field goals. We didn't have Harfy and Gregory on D last year. We need to stay in our gaps and bot over pursue. LB and Coalman need to have almost a flawless game

Nailed it. The only way we can have success in providing pressure is by flooding those short crossing routes. They live off that!

They should activate Coleman to backup T. Crawford and move Jack Crawford to SDE and move DLaw back to WDE and rotate in Mincy as the swing DE.

I think that would give them more flexibility then having Russell in there.

Gregory was showing something out there. It was only a matter of time before he got to eli. It's unfortunate he got hurt. We're gonna struggle like we did last year until we get our boys back.

Gregory hit Eli a few times, the ball was coming out fast but Gregory was so quick they had to double him. Need some more push up the middle and Gregory wrecks havoc

Not deep enough and this game will push their endurance. They need to play better this game

No question. Probably need to dress 8 DL and rotate per series to keep them fresh.

We need to control the clock like last year in order to beat Giggles.

A bit dramatic.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who has questions about the pass rush. With Gregory out we're back to the 2014 dline with the only exception of Lawrence finally having a full off season under his belt. The pieces we added this offseason in Hardy and Gregory won't hit the field until wk 5.

There's nothing wrong with discussing topics related to the team. That's why we have the privilege of doing so on a forum.

We're almost playing with the lineup we used to beat Philly in Philly last year. Just swap McClain for Lee and Scandrick for Claiborne, and it's a similar squad.

We'll see if it's good enough.

yes, last year was demarcus lawrence and hitchens, this year is gregory and next year will be the next guy selected. we do it forr everyone, everyone we draft we cant afford to lose, yet we get by. Last year being almost one play from the SB. So im ok with Rod working the defense without Gregory. yes Gregory is so awesome hes a god before he did anything. yes dear lords we shall miss his 50 plus sacks he was about to unleash. So yes, lets build him up. Will he be good, im sure. But right now eh wont make a difference that we wont notice. We are still reeling from the loss of Spencer, a downward spiral that we ll never get back from. Carter too, remember his awesomeness. Makes you wonder how we were so good last year. Its a luxury to have Gregory but he doesnt make the line. I trust in Rod to keep us afloat enough until Zues's return.

I think Philly will be using this approach as well, hitting those quick underneath routes.

The game will be won or lost depending on how well we cover the flat. I'm worried about Sproles speed, I can see him converting a few 3rd and longs. If we can contain the flat Bradford will not beat us with his arm.

Yeah, we play Philly in Philly and oddly enough I feel comfortable playing them in their house with all of the pressure on them.
