Good morning Cowboys fans. I feel like this is deja vu.
Several years ago I shared with this forum the news that one of our own had passed away from lung cancer. Unfortunately today I am doing that again.
Several months back I got a PM from sonnyboy telling me he was going through the same thing. He had a 20% chance of survival and a 50% chance he'd be gone in a year or 2.
Last night I couldn't sleep. For some reason I just knew I had to get up and check my PMs on another site. I saw a message from sonnyboy, and my immediate reaction was, "Please be you, and not your son."
Sadly, it was his son, going through his Dad's Cowboys stuff and he let me know sonnyboy passed away a little over a month ago. Michael was a very good man, and a loyal Cowboys fan. I have asked his son for a link to an obituary and I will get it to the staff here if I ever get a response. I will also give him the link to this thread for any of you who want to express your thoughts and prayers for our friend.
