Passing defense

Everyone stepped up defending the pass. This playoff weekend you normally see 3-6 passes defensed in a game. Only the Cowboys 12, Bills 10, Chargers 13 had 10 or more passes defensed this playoff weekend. Brady didn't just have an off night, no, the Cowboys defense made his night terrible. Congrats to all the different guys who stepped up on this defense.

Brady like every QB has trouble with pressure up the middle. Quinn was able to generate some of that last night. At times he seemed to hear foot steps.

He was seeing Micah everywhere he turned. If Brady wasn't so good at getting rid of the ball so fast this thing would have been very very ugly.

That's what I was thinking. Micah was about a quarter step away from a sack 5 or 6 times. Tom just simply does not take sacks. The ball is out so quick there is not really much you can do about it.

Show up like that against nearly any other QB in the league and you are looking at a gigantic stat line for the pass rush.

Cowboys front harassed Brady all night long, no doubt one 2 sacks on the night vs one of the best QB when it comes to avoiding sacks but as many of us mentioned before the game the importance of putting pressure on Brady especially up the middle. Defense did just that forcing a lot of poorly thrown passes

And we still gave in trouble
