And it wasn't that he was "bad", he just wasn't a shut down corner. They overpaid but certainly no reason to stop participating in FA.

It was so strange how they didn't have anyone on staff who could evaluate his ability. It was just so obvious that he was a #2 CB.

Over the last 10 years, we've drafted Byron Jones, Taco, LVE, Micah, and Mazi in the first.

I am seeing two guys who were decent for a while.

One who was elite.

And two busts.

With that beign said. Lets trade a pick for Jeffery Simmons. Hes 28 and hes a beats in the middle. I don't trust this front office to draft a DT. It takes 3 years for a DT to come around once they get to the NFL. Jerry dosent have 3years to wait.

I urge you to go review some of our other "starting" corners in years past before using the word "awful" to describe Carr.

Also, if I remember correctly, he should have been used in a more zone scheme. He just didn't have the twitch speed to mirror receivers.

Taking TEs and Injured players high is the exact reason why we can't stop anyone. Schoonmaker, Revel, even Overshown who has always been injury prone. That's why.

I mean he was probably the best we had he was better then Mo and wherever else we threw out there. Hell based on salary is probably say we got more out of Scandrifk and Anthony Brown.
