Go see my Donovan McNabb thread and see my position on his conflict with the Eagles. He had a legit argument.

He may have had a legit argument but it is not his job to go to the press and rip players do you understand that? If he has a problem with McNabb or any player then deal with it in the locker room don't be a punk and go to the media and air your dirty laundry to those idiots. That is what causes the problem and that is what keeps the flames going because the media will never let it die they will continue to bring it up and the other players on the team suffer because of it and cause players to pick sides when the fact is they are all suppose to be on the same side not divided.

I dont want him either...and JJT says he doesnt think the Cowboys do either as well

I still think he isnt coming here
I don't want him X3 but I think all signs point to him coming here: JJ likes to make a big splash, Bill's track record handling troublesome personalities, his obsession with the player (said at a press conference last year that he signed Henry with TO in mind), Bill's likely last year in Dallas, Jerry throwing out "don't forget wide receiver" with a wink when a reporter listed the team needs, Bill's lunch with Rosenhaus at the combine, TO's desire to sign with a division rival and his chance to be on the big stage, Jerry's comments during the season last year (that almost cost the team draft picks), the list goes on and on.

We'll see who is right within a few days, I suspect.

How legit is Pat Kirwan? A poster on the ranch said that on Sirius he said that its a done deal, To to Dallas, that they would pay Key a raise to pacify the picking up of TO. That BP and Jerry came to the agreement to pursue him.

If thats the case, Speedkilz just broke the story.
I would still just call it a rumor. You know talking heads, they have to stir things up a bit. I was just wanting to know how reliable this guy is with his inside information.

So which is it, the altercation or simply not reporting? Or did one lead to the other?

When the Eagles first signed TO, didn't they inform him not to sign the deal because it was not a good deal for him to sign? But he signed it anyway to join a team w/ Super Bowl hopes. When McNabb squandered the team's hopes of a Super Bowl victory (or at least that's what TO will tell you happened) then TO's interest in a more fair deal became appearant. And from there it seems the problems began in Philly.

If this is the case, then doesn't logic tell us that if TO gets a deal he perceives to be fair then this kind of thing will be behind him, no longer an issue, and he'll be able to focus on on-field and withing-locker-room production?

**

This is what I've been saying before...The seed of Discontent was sown in that contract...He signed it and was stupid for doing so...But Jerry will not repeat that mistake.

I promise that everyone will still be Cowboy fans regardless of whether TO comes or not. And if they aren't, they weren't true fans to begin with.

There's talk on that other board now that KC has decided to up their contract to a multi-year and trade for TO. So I guess it may be in TOs hands now where he wants to go if their offer is what he wants.

The ball is in T.O's court more than it is the Eagles... He'd have to agree to the trade, unless they work out some sort of sign and trade kinda deal. He's gonna get released, then it'll be a bidding war between us and KC.

It sounds like KC doesn't think they can compete with Dallas in a FAgency situation(or already lost out), thats why they reportedly caved on the trade.

If KC Really needs Owens to restructer his contract to get traded...I Highly Doubt that Owens does that...It would help the Eagles.

If he really wanted to go to KC...He Could just wait until he's released and then sign with them.

I hope they take it...I would even give them the Cowboys 7th rounder to take him
I'd give Philly a 7th rounder if they'd just re-sign him and make sure he doesn't come here!

Agreed...The Only way I see Owens going to KC over Dallas is if he's traded.
