Ya know, there are 32 teams in the NFL, ... each proabably has 3 QB's on their roster. (including PS)
That's 96 slots open in the NFL for QB's, ...96 !!
QC is not one of the 96, ... figure it out.

Problem is, what did Q Car have that Drew doesn't have.WV Cowboy said:Hey kartr !

Skip said:He drives me crazy watching him hold the ball. You would think he would get the message that is not a good thing!
When he drops back a lets it go fast he is a much better QB, but that is not often enough.

Waffle said:I'm not here defending the 2005 Cowboys lackluster play of late. You know Kartr...your problem is that even though you do make several solid observations and points from time to time, your constant attempts to time travel back to 2003 in order to prop up a former Cowboy QB completely ruins your credibility. Let it go already. He's gone and he's NEVER coming back. Everyone knows he wasn't the ONLY reason the 2003 team went 10-6. Like my buddy Nors always says, "move on."
Waffle said:A better analogy would be that we would "just get embarrassed like we did against Carolina in the 2003 playoffs."

Drew B is the better QB by far, but some people just have a knack for winning, and Drew doesn't.
Draft a QB 1st round, even if you have to move up. We are not 1 or 2 years away, I'm sorry folks.
TwoDeep3 said:I read this same thread on every Cowboys board. Same words, different posters.
And yet, the on issue whoch seems to be missed is a simple fact which Parcells commented on earlier in the year.
Bledsoe holds the ball waiting for someone to get open and doesn't throw the ball randomly so it won't get picked off.
In other words, he takes the sack instead of throwing it up for grabs.
Now I'm sure this will cause some to retort in a negative manner.
But I defer to the heads coach and his opinion.
Being the coaches pet has its previledges!!!!!kartr said:After 14 starts he has 14 ints and at least 14 fumbles. What's your point? You know Carter would at least throw it away instead of taking the sack. Parcells said about Hutch, when you fumble the ball in the pocket, it's always your fault. I guess unless your name is Bledsoe,it's always your fault.

Look at the numbers. They don't lie.
If Drew had a problem reading defenses or getting rid of the ball, he would not have the career numbers he does now.
Quarterbacks who have problems throwing the football or making decisions, such as Quincy Carter or Chad Hutchison, end up in the same spot both of them are: out of football.
Quarterbacks who are in the Top 10 of all Quarterbacks in NFL history get there because they know how to read defenses and know how and when to throw the football.
Those suggesting Drew "holds it too long" or "can't read a defense fast enough" are so facially wrong that is absurd and laughable.
You're preaching to the Choir.kartr said:Drew b has more experience, but is not better. He's never been on a truly bad team, yet he loses as much as he wins. Carter came to Dallas when we were horrible, as he got better, we got better and now that he's gone, we can't make the playoffs anymore and neither will the Jets, unless they get Leinart and he'll take a while. Carter also has won 60% of his last 26 starts with two different teams. In both cases the assumption was the teams would get better without him. It hasn't happened yet.
man, listen to yourself.kartr said:Numbers can be misleading, Bledsoe has played many more games than Carter, so of course he has more yards and tds. It still doesn't make him any good. Look, Terry Bradshaw won 4 superbowls, but he threw as many ints and tds, and Kenny Stabler, he won 1 superbowl and played for years went to the playoffs many times, yet he threw more ints than tds. Stats don't tell the whole story. Hey, Carter has helped 2 different teams get to the playoffs in the last two years, Bledsoe hasn't done it since '98. That says it all.

That was, is and will forever be Drew BledsoeHDC said:Bledsoe seems to have no sense of when to throw it away. I saw him stand there and pat the ball once, twice, and even three times as the defense converged on him. I could see the sack coming most of the time, but he just stood there patting the ball again and again until he went down.
