What happened to Crayton on Sunday? Did anyone else notice he didn't catch a pass, I didn't even here his name called.

Parcells mentioned that there might be 2 or 3 different inactives. I think Crayton may be one of those guys.

I only noticed Crayton on the field on one series. I don't even think they called any plays for him.

He only got to play a little bit. I did see him in their split back formation on one play where he was lined up as the lead back in the split, and then he ran a passing route underneath.

YAKUZA

when you have witten,t.o.,and glenn there won't be alot of the 3rd wr this season

Rector played last week and I have not heard if he will be active this week due to injury. If not then Crayton may be in the lineup

You can't catch it if they don't throw it to you.
I might have missed it, but I don't remember them attempting a pass to him.

They didn't.

as bad as the Commanders 3rd and 4th corners are it'd be good to take advantage of it

To expose the 3rd and 4th corners of an opposing team, we would have to have a solid o-line and a QB that makes quick reads to find the 3rd and 4th guy before he gets pancaked. We have none of the above, so we cannot take advantage of this situation.

:bang2:

I will say it again with Rector playing well Craytons days are numbered because he does not play special teams. Hurd can fill his shoes so even if he makes it this year he could be a cut next.

Yeah or they say loss... and they mix it all up.

"Man this is the worst lose ever!"
"Commanders are going to loss on sunday man they suck!"

Crayton simply isn't as good as some people have made him out to be, nothing more than a 3rd receiver at best when he can stay healthy. There's a reason the front office was looking at different WR options out there when TO was 'injured' during preseason....

Crayton is a very good receiver when he is healthy and has his head right. But he seems to take longer to get his head right than his body right after an injury. It is a trait that could cost him dearly in his career if he doesn't learn to deal a little better.

As for Sunday; he wasn't on the field much and was not thrown to at all. The two TE set is going to cost him a lot of playing time since there are a lot of situation where they would have brought in the 3rd WR in the past where they will now just go with the extra TE. This is not a good offense in which to be the 3rd WR.

Crayton is a non factor....Witten, TO, Glenn, MB3....we have enough weapons to attach the field, it's all on Bledsoe's shoulders now....
