Kevin Smith, the guy who made the greatest WR in the game, Jerry Rice, frustrated. Too bad for his achilles. If he was healthy when they signed Deion, game over. He was actually targeted after the achilles for a lot of BS calls.

Agreed.....
I seem to remember some footage of Kevin Smith telling something to Rice before a NFC title game that went something like this "im shutting you down today old man" or something to that effect.

Sherman is excellent at performing within Seattle's defensive scheme.

You could stop right there.

He helped that defense win in playoffs and Super Bowl.
He made game hanging play that put them in Super Bowl. If he doesn't make that play San Fran could have been in Super Bowl.

Too add: it is a true testament to him that once a system was put in place that he was able to accel and win his match ups.

Some players never get a system to prosper in.
Some players never find a way to make a system that is suited for them, work for them.

He will be instrumental in their repeat.

I'd really like to see which one of these guys is a better a "shut-up" corner.
