Belicheat is going after him as we speak. Would love him on our already great defense tho.

This team has drafted very well the last few years and a top cb and safety are not the last pieces to a super bowl for this team by a long shot.

Dumb.
 
Saints will probably trade what's left of their 2019 draft plus some 2020 picks
 
I'd love to see P2 wear the star, but it ain't happening. Between the contract, lack of trade ammo and now this Cooper trade...they're out of contention

No one said they were. You're good at projecting what you think my plan is. Don't do that. You are not good at it. I promise.

If it were me I would be balls to the wall all out build this team with every resource I could lay my hands on. Up to and including firing Garrett, finding FA quarterback. Looking for FA linemen. Testing the waters on Peterson. Keeping an eye on ET. And suing what draft picks Dallas has to target things like TE, interior linemen on both sides of the ball.

And that might even include trading Dak if the price was right.

See, so you really don't understand my complete thoughts on this or you would have stopped arguing a while back.

And it's just an opinion, which is still allowed.

But I'm with you on firing JG and trading Dak if the price is right.

The problem is we're the only team offering good picks for trash.

He's not making a difference in Arizona. Jalen Ramsey isn't making much difference in Jacksonville. Why? Poor QB, a limited offense, and not enough points to win.

What do you think we're going to do, trade all of our picks for more defense, sign ET, and hold teams to 3 points per game in the current NFL? Defense hasn't been our problem. We have an ineffective offense - Peterson does nothing to help that.

My first response in this thread you mocked my response and implied it was simple minded.

And opinions are allowed..but it doesn't.make them all equal. Yours aren't good so far this thread, my friend.

Watch Philly trade for Peterson now. . They need CBs & would trump Dallas Cooper move....

he's just as crappy as what the Saints already had. He is vastly over rated and a bust. The Saints actually over paid for him. The Gents were ready to unload him last year,after just 1 and a half seasons. That's pretty telling when you look at how awful the team is. Good Luck Saints.
