Mr. Swayze passed away today at the age of 57 due to his fight with pancreatic cancer. A sad day indeed. RIP Patrick.

Sorry to hear that. He made a few movies that are way up high on my wife's all-time favorites list.

i was surprised to see how old he was.....i always thought of him as only being about 12-14 years older than me.....not over 20.

I know this will be unpopular but I always liked him in Point Break. I thought Roadhouse was ok but Point Break was where it's at for me.

I was never a real big fan of Patrick Swayze movies but I did like him in The Outsiders.

Be that as it may, it's sad to hear that anybody dies from cancer.

RIP Patrick Swayze.

He fought a good fight against pancreatic cancer.

My all time favorite role he played was actually a bit part in a TV show. In M*A*S*H he played a guy who had leukemia but was more concerned about his buddy. It was a very touching job.

The next time I saw him was when he played the oldest Curtis brother Darry in "The Outsiders." I have read that book 7 times and I love it.

Then I saw "Red Dawn" and I just sort of became a Patrick Swayze fan.

Seemed like a very decent guy. RIP.
