There is HUGE value in rd 3 this year
I’d happily trade my 4th and one 5th for a 3rd
I honestly think the Cowboys should straight up trade 2 of their 5ths this year, for 2 4ths in next years draft.
Its dumb valuation to me. A 3rd this year shouldn't be as valuable as a 2nd next year, because thats still going to be a 2nd round pickI would look to take advantage of that as much as I could. Downgrading a pick because it's a year later. I'd gladly collect that interest.

It usually happens when a team has say a 3rd round grade on a guy that falls to the 5th, they jump in offering a future 4 for said 5th round pick, they see it as a win because of how they graded the player.I'm not sure you're getting anyone to give you their 2nd next year for a 3rd this year. Find me that dummy and we can trade every year. But future picks are valued less than current picks when trading up or trading for a player. Or if a team really likes a player in the 5th, and they don't have a 5th, I can see them giving up a 4th next year.

right and the more picks you have the more players you get, and maybe better chance of hitting on 1 or 2My guess is the Pats probably also don't see a difference in value between most Day 3 players.
