Patriots fire HC Jerod Mayo

Not a surprise as the team pretty much revolted a month into the season. Still, Mayo was "the guy" to Kraft, wanting to replace Belichick for a number of years. What a miss.

So Jerry is a top owner, then?
Yes, he’s a top owner. Arguably the most powerful owner in the NFL. He’s in the Hall of Fame. However, he’s a lousy GM. You’re confusing the two.

Gotta admit, one year in and with a rookie QB...
Kraft, or any owner can do whatever they want, but that's a pretty quick trigger.

But if I'm not mistaken, IF Daboll gets his pink slip with the Giants, that's 5 coaches in 9 years.

Now THAT 'S some major front office dysfunction to join the Cowboys!
Like they say, misery loves company.

That's what is supposed to happen if you suck as a HC. Should've happened to MM immediately after the Packers game.
Nice to see an owner not care that everyone at ESPN will be wearing black and be in mourning on Monday.

Yeah reports were Vrabel was waiting for that position to open but it wasnt looking good but now I think it pretty safe to say he will be in NE,

Wonder how long the contract was.

As we have been told, dead coaching money is a big problem in todays NFL and these owners can’t afford it.

I wonder if Kraft goes bust over this. Now someone tell me if Jerry isn’t seriously influenced by his cheap kid.
