Mitchell was not as bad as it looks he had a good 3 year run, plus Mitchell went to the Lions of all teams....

Cassell did learn behind Brady and had a great coaching staff to really teach him, which one again is priceless....

That Lions team had plenty of offensive talent at that time. Herman Moore, Barry Sanders, Robert Porcher, Jonnie Morton...

Mitchell put up decent numbers, but was a terrible QB

If Brady comes back from his knee injury and looks anything like he did in 07,then I think the Pats are a lock in the AFC.

To be completely honest, the trade was Matt Cassell and Mike Vrabel for a 2nd round DP. While Vradel is far from a superstar, and is definately not the headliner of the deal, he is far from just a throw in with no value.
