I guess we just have to disagree. If that isnt at least illegal contact beyond 5 yards then the rule shouldnt ever apply.

So true. The griping about that call is unfounded. That was clearly not PI. When they threw it I rolled my eyes.

His hands on is hips had no impact on the play whatsoever. You gotta lettem play and the cause of Wayne falling was his own fault............CLEARLY.

If you call PI on that, there'd by 5000 of those calls every game.

It may have not been a PI, but man how many times does a player trip over his own feet and get that called especially when held? Also, on the previous play it was a definite pass interference to Clark. The Pats seem to get away with a lot of calls.

There are literally thousands of plays per season of which hundreds are questionable,,,,this isn't one of them.

Holding was probably there on that play but there was definitely PI on the play before the one in question --much more contact than the Newman PI.

I just have a problem when some teams seem to get away with more than other teams, especially in the playoffs when one play or bad call usually decides the game.

No Im one that thinks the new rules are stupid and they need to let them play but all year I have seen a lot less then that being called over and over. Now suddenly its ok for the Pats defenders to hold the Indy WRs? I just want some consistency, either call it or let em play.
