Pats vs. Ravens Game Thread

I was actually thinking earlier today that if the Ravens defense showed up, this could be a good trap game for the Pats.

...I would give the Ravens the edge in a possible last minute win.

They gained a huge tactical advantage with selecting the wind in the 4th quarter.

This may end up being a last second FG type of game and I wouldn't bet on Gostkowski into the wind at the end of this game if it's over 30 yards.

For Stover, if he kicking with this wind he may be good from 55.

You wonder if the Pats age at LB is already showing up a little. Baltimore is smashmouthing McGahee right at them with success.

Can't help thinking of Bigg and Co. up front with Hoyte leading MB3 through the hole...

The only problem is that the offensive line isn't really adept at run blocking. They generally do better towards the end of the game when the opposing defense is all tired from the beating.

Are the pats in hurry up, every time I look at gamecast they do something new.

They have hit him several time in he head and twice late with no call. They better not call anything on Brady tonight.

I'm flipping back and forth to the game because I just can't stand Kornhole so I haven't seen everything but I really hope the officials call a square game. The head slap on Boller, so far out in the open that it was unmissable, really doesn't seem square.

My biggest problem with games on the NFLN is the vested interest the NFL has in teams that are scheduled to play on it, especially late in the year. They have the NE/NYFG game. Would it be better for ratings if NE was undefeated and the Giants were fighting for the last playoff spot or if both teams have nothing to play for and are playing backups?

You can't commit that many penalties and expect to win.

10-10 ballgame.
