I looked up the phrase "one good year" in the dictionary. Staring at me was a picture of Paul Kruger
actually spencer has played very good the last 3 years. it's just that fans only read the sack stats. maybe look at pressures and takles which spencer had more in each of the last 4 years than krugar has in his whole careervisionary;5015359 said:while that is funny and true (as in no way do i recommend signing krueger to a long-term deal)
but the only reason they had kreuger's picture there (instead of spencer) was because they have had spencer's picture under the phrase "no good years" for a long time and hadnt moved it over yet

You can debate whether being a great run stuffer throughout his career is or is not evidence of a good performance.
But you simply cannot be making any sort of rational evaluation if you don't think 2009 was an awesome year. Passes defended, huge sacks late in the season, forced fumbles, a giant, game ending interception. He even hit Favre so hard in our playoff loss that Favre admitted to having half his body covered in a giant bruise that limited him in the NO game the following week.
