Pauline: Hearing its Ogbah for the Cowboys

Most think Kamalei Correa is a better fit for the 3-4.

Heard one of the talking heads last night say that there are never any good/great pass rushers who run the 40 slower than 4.8. That made me think. I looked it up and most are 4.5-4.7 type guys. I think Ogbah was a little faster than Dodd and Spence may have been close to the same. However, I looked up JJ Watt and he was a 4.86 guy. I was trying to think of other guys that ran the 40 north of 4.8. I don't have an opinion one way or another (probably Spencer if he didn't have off field troubles), but thought it was interesting.

Please expound. I've watched his highlights and he looks like an explosive player with power. If there's some issues with him, I'd like to know what they are.

Name one decent tackle he has gone against and done well against

Don't know. I just watched the highlights and he looked good.

I was asking you to point out his flaws because you've obviously seen more than just his highlights.

Ogbah feels like one of those picks where the Cowboys just fall in love with the measurable and discount the fact that there are serious questions about his motor, etc.

If he is the pick, then "Ogbah" is the sound my mouth will make when I throw up.

Watch the OK st Ole Miss game Tunsil got the best of him. Most of his production 4-5 hurries 2 passes deflected came against Ole Miss RT. Early in the game his effort was poor after his initial bull rush. Later in the game ironically when they were way behind his effort improve. Did his coaches get on him for lack of effort looks like it. He missed at least 2 tackles. He is raw has no counter moves. I just dont know. Maybe he can be coach up but his lack of effort on some plays concerns me.

I think I'd rather take a chance on the druggie Spence than this guy.

I'm down for this. Honestly want defense the rest of the draft. With the exception of a wr that looks promising.

Cbs
Safety
Dlineman
Lbers

Bring them all!

I would be ok with Dodd, Bullard, possibly Billings, and coming around on Spence for #34.

Are you guys drunk already?

According to PFF, Ogbah was third in the nation among edge rushers at pass rushing efficiency.

One, it's PFF.

Two, I've never seen the kid play but some here apparently have and his motor is in question. I try to stay away from guys who have their efforts questioned or are criticized for taking plays off.

The reports I read actually listed work ethic as a strength. Inconsistent? Yes. But a hard worker
