The saints draft Vaccaro, other players we like are off the board and we wind up taking Reid.

Yes...As crazy as it sounds....things can be worse than Vaccaro. :laugh2:

Reid sucks too, but I'd take him over Vacarro. IMO if they take ANY safety at 18 they are obviously reaching for need and they're full of doodoo if they pull the "We kept to our board" line.

If they stuck to their board and Vaccaro was there...chances are he would be the BPA at that spot according to the board IMO.

So they could stick to the board and get a player they like and rate highly even if all of us don't like that pick.

I don't want any of the safeties in the first round (maybe at a serious trade back) but I keep that doomsday type scenario in my mind that the top O and D linemen are gone and we somehow manage getting Reid...and I think Vacarro is a better coverage guy than reid.
