I know football quite well and you are wrong.Zeke is still a good play that can help....anyone that doesn't see this, doesn't know football. I agree, he needs to take a big paycut.
Yeah, I think just his rookie contract plus 5th year option was 35M. I wish someone would pity me with that.Sinister? The guy got to be rich and famous for playing a game. There's no pity warranted here.
I think a team like Kansas City would be beneficial. Baltimore as well.I’ve always thought Zeke would go somewhere like Baltimore and have success for a season. That team loves vets. Good luck
First few seasons, sure. In December with 5 weeks remaining he had a pass-blocking trade of 74.4 (9 out of 62). Not true anymore.Keep in mind, Pollard is probably the worst pass protector in the NFL. Just awful. That matters.
I simi agree. Draft a big body back that can block some as well. 4th-5th round. Can Davis do it now? Get us a DT,OG, and CB first.Keep in mind, Pollard is probably the worst pass protector in the NFL. Just awful. That matters.
Then run him out on routes. We don't need Zeke with his measly 2.5 yard average.Keep in mind, Pollard is probably the worst pass protector in the NFL. Just awful. That matters.
Lol he's actually pretty decent. What are you watching? I wouldn't want Zeke back if played for free, he's a waste of a roster spot
Zeke is an ok player but he’s a progress stopper at this point.I know football quite well and you are wrong.
I think fair is 5 million a year because he’s worth about 3.5 if that.I would be suprised to see them ask him to go to the vet min.
You would think he would have learned something by now for 30 years of experience.Translate.......it's a courtesy offer out of respect for his service. They don't want him to take it. Think about it, Stephen's been doing contracts for over 30 years. With that and all the sources at his fingertips, there's no doubt in my mind he doesn't know Zeke value on the open market if he's cut. In other words, they are trying to give this a soft landing IMO.
Pay it a move along. Zeke is nothing more than excess baggage. No matter what pay cut Zeke agrees to, Dallas owes 11M to the cap. That 11M dead cap doesn't go away because Zeke agrees to it, just the 5 million beyond that. That 11 million has already been paid to him, and he's not giving it back. We're paying that cap hit one way or another.
