Hargrave can still play. Being 30 isn't some sort of hard line that guys automatically start to suck after it.

He showed no signs of decline having one of his best years ever just last year. He can likely play at a high level for 3-4 more years. Shoot, Fletcher Cox is 32 and also had a better year than any of our DTs.

We wouldn't entertain Hargrave. Not because he can't still play. He can. They are just cheap as hell at DT. They wouldn't entertain signing Hargrave if he was only 26.

Not nearly as intrigued about him as I was with Payne.

The Cowboys won't do it. Hargrave does fit the giant body mold either..they need that the most imo.

Payne was perfect....hopefully the Commanders don't Chise him.

Payne is gonna cost way more than Hargrave.

But saying we shouldn't sign Hargrave if we could because he's 30 is just bizarre.

And let's be clear, Jerry and his doofus offspring aren't going to be interested in signing either if they make it to FA.

I do think they would break the bank for Payne.

Not for Hargrave.

30 year old that is not a dominant player imo. I would not spend top of the position money on him. Sorry...jmo.

Hargrave will end up costing less than Payne. So I am not sure what you mean "break the bank" for Hargrave. He'd cost less than Payne both in years and total dollars.

It's ok, there are several other options that are more cap friendly.

It is still a ton of money. He isn't worth the overspend. You overspend in FA when Need, Age, and Talent are all there. He has 2 of the 3 and his Need doesn't tick run stopper.
