But to determine anything meaningful from this tyou would have to copare the game stats of Montana, Staubach and Elway to see if there is anything fundamentally different in these comebacks.

I am not denying that. What I believe is that Bledsoe has made his team look worse than it really is. Bledsoe is Trent Dilfer with a whole lot more hype (meaning, if you have a great team around you, than you can win, you can make some big plays from time to time, you can play well if the game isnt on your shoulders). Imagine if Dilfer had been given the chances that Bledsoe was given in NE, and then Buffalo, and now here. We all might be considering Dilfer as a great all-time QB.

I see your point, and I'm not hailing Bledsoe as an all time great. When he's on he's pretty good. When he's bad he's really bad. Can he get us to the playoffs? Yeah and maybe even a win, much like Brunell did last year for you guys. But it's Romo time in 07

I disagree that the Saints didnt have talent. They simply have been poorly coached over the past few years.

They made some very good moves this offseason and have They lost their best OL this year and gained a pretty decent young QB to go along with a versatile weapon in Bush, a solid although injury prone RB in McAlister, a great veteran WR in Horn, a pretty good DL, with some depth, picked up a few cast offs to improve their LBs corps.

I thought that also. They had some decent talent, but not used very well. No discipline. Also, they played much worse last year than the talent level. Try playing a NFL schedule with no home. All your plans pulled from underneath you, and your homes destroyed. I believe that had much to do with a poor season. Not that they were playoff caliber, but a big distraction none the less.

Now add a Coach with great learning experience under Parcells, add some top notch talent in Reggie Bush, and a top notch QB in Drew Brees. Two very huge improvements.

When things shake out, settles down, playing somewhat on emotions, but it is also giving them confidence. They just may be a player in the playoff outcome. Even when they play better cometition, and do not play as well, they could be a spoiler to some team. Remember we play them later in the season.

Fair enough, and I feel the Commanders are pretty much in the same situation with Brunell. Hard to pull a QB that got you into the playoffs, pulled off a win, and then played the team was still in the divisional game. Lots of new weapons (supposedly) on both sides of the ball. Not that Bledsoe has done that with the Cowboys but the veteran saavy and potential is certainly there.

Well playing Cleveland, Green Bay and Tampa help as well.

Having Brees instead of Bledsoe doesn't hurt either, not to mention Joe Horn, that rookie WR who's flat tearing it up, Bush and McAlister.

A win is a win. Good teams find ways to win and playing on the road shouldn't be an excuse.

Most important game?.....hmmm

I don't believe anyone has said you suck. It's just you have weaknesses still in certain areas. Hell all teams do, even the perfect Colts. I wouldn't say the Eagles barely beat you but you guys were definitely in it near the end. Who's to say you guys wouldn't scored in those last seconds anyway even without the interception?

It was in 2004, you know the same season that MEO was there and before all the drama.

Look at what Sean Payton has done with a really poor set of talent. He traded for some guys, picked some of our extra's off the squad and turned them into the 7th ranked Offense and 12th ranked D and more importantly he has shocked the fans by winning 4 games.

This coaching staff is made up of two guys that couldn't put together an innovative offense or a defense that could get pressure on the QB last year for us. They both came from Dallas. NO has had 15 sacks so far this season! They also are 1.2 yards per game behind us and it is his first year.

One heck of a coaching job to turn around a franchise who hasn't won in a long time. It is not all Reggie Bush that is making that team win!

If you want me to be impressed, beat the Eagles this week.

Way too early to tell right now. They've played the Packers, Browns, TB (w/a rookie QB) and had their "Katrina game" against the Falcons. Even their loss to the Panthers looks even less impressive given the banged up Panthers O-Line and such.

They've done a good job so far, especially with the O-Line, but their schedule has helped out as well.

I am just going by what your defensive players said after the game.

If you dont think this was the most watched game in Eagles history ...... well ......

And yes I am including your Superbowl loss. If you had wanted that game as bad as this one you guys would have Won ...... esp with how T.O. was playing that day.

Because if Drew actually saw an open Witten and threw it to where he was instead of directly to the defender, it would have been a TD assuming Witten would have caught it.
