Payton schooled Zimmer

Schooled is the nicest way of putting it. Raped, Abused, Violated, Molested, Sodomized..........those are a little closer to reality.

I agree.

Why is Roy Williams playing 20 yards out? I am not saying I know defensive schemes better than Zimmer but I would have put RW at the LOS in run support or covering Reggie Bush or blitzing from there if it is a passing play as an additional LB/SS. Leave the corners in man coverage. If they need safety help against these receivers, then we have bigger problems

no doubt about it, this might be the game that gets Zimmer canned in the offseason unless we make a significant run

Payton schooled every coach on our staff....not just Zimmer.

thats nothing to brag bout'......does it take much

my concern is more that BP couldnt make even early 2nd qtr adjustments on the swing passes, he's been running the 3-4 for what.......20 years plus or minus?

We're not that lucky.

He'll get a pass just like he always does.

Unfortunately, this probably means that Zimmer doesn't get that head coaching job away . . . .

This should get that joker canned tomorrow morning...

Fear not. If we shut down Vick and Atlanta, some myopic dope will post "Where are all the Zimmer haters?"

whats sad about this game is, our Defense has been exposed, just throw deep and often, our safeties are clueless, that goes for both of them

uh, most of what killed us wasnt targeted at the safeties

there were a couple of plays, but this was just a pathetically coached defense getting spanked by a smart coach, and it happens every yr

David

It was nasty. They dumped to their future Hall of Fame Fullback if we went man and then went deep on the zone.

I don't want to put this loss on the players, this is all on the coaches.
The players were lost on what is going on the field and the coaches didn't prepare them well or make any proper adjustments.

It's the same time of the year whenever we go up 7-3, 8-3 or 8-4 we have one of these huge deflating losses and we don't seams to recover well after that. Hope we can quickly forget this loss and move on

This isn't the sort of loss you can pin on one guy (speaking to the safeties' poor play).

Outside of Terry Glenn and possibly McBriar, it's difficult to find too many people that played well. Austin Miles can probably be added to the mix, despite his fumbled return.

all i know is that we simply cant beat the Saints, they flat out own us. we havent beat them since 1994.

Let's put the blame at the feet of the true reason...Parcells.

What we saw tonight is how our coaches can coach when the fat thumb of the Tuna isn't screwing things up.

Never saw that kind of play calling and risk taking when Sean was calling plays for us...care to guess why?

Anyone who thinks Zimmer is designing the defensive game plan is crazy.

Then why hasn't our defense changed one bit since Zimmer has been our DC?

Explain that. It's the same thing despite who our head coach is.

I think the fact that Payton had ZImmer so badly is a telling sign of who is a superior coach.

Zimmer saw Payton's offense for 3 years, he looked like he had never seen a football game in his life tonight.
