Considering he his last good year was with bledsoe, why not. Bring him in and try out with nothing to lose but something to gain. Sometimes guys get into the wrong system. He needs to play in a conventional system with a traditional QB in my opinion.

Can't be worse then Morgan

I really liked him when he was in Buffalo, and reuniting him with Bledsoe would probably be good for both players.

It'd be worth a shot definitely if he gets released

He's not bad. Again, he excelled in Buffalo when he wasn't the focal point of the offense.
He has Bledsoe here, Jones is better than Henry was, and with Key Glenn and Witten, he wouldn't be the lead WR. Let's face it, Mike Vick has a killer arm, and maybe this year he breaks out, but he's not a drop back QB. You can't be surprised that his best WR is a TE,
basically his dump off option. If it's cheap, bring in Price.

He's a good second or third option when playing with a Bledsoe-style passer.

I'd be all for pursuing him if he can't get better offers elsewhere. I just don't want to see Crayton buried on the depth chart.

Price's biggest problem was making #1 money and being a #1. Couple that with Vick throwing all over the lot.

I'd get him in here so fast its not even funny. Is this true? Or rumor?

I'd rather have Crayton as a 3rd WR, and Price is a waste of a roster spot at 4 or 5...

Crayton has better hands, runs better routes, is younger, has alot of upside, works hard etc etc...Price is a dropped ball machine, runs shoddy routes and a turd in the lockerroom

Price isnt better than our top 3 WR's, and he does nothing on special teams

I agree that he doesnt play S. T. but the guy did have a great year with Bledsoe...I think he would be a great # 2 just not a 1..I say bring him in and let him get some great coaching from Parcells and watch him turn it around..

and again...he isnt better than Key, he definitely isnt better than Glenn, and Crayton looks alot better right now than Price has in a few yrs in Atlanta

so why waste the time and money?

I'd take him. I think before the season is over we will be losing at least one fo the starters for more than a couple games.

Mikey was watching in 2002 after all!

Plenty of reps to go around. Key and Glenn not young and have injury histories of late.

I've got no problems with Price. And I don't think our starters are going to last the season. And I will admit that Bledoe is a better passer than Vick... but hell, I'm a better passer than Vick.

Back atcha

Vick's accuracy sucks. You'd have to ask the 3 Arizona amigo's on Mikey's arm. My money says they think he's too small, has a noodle arm. Very accurate but won't cut it in NFL.

Sorry Mikey -

That would be you, the word "golfer" also came up. Also they reported you loop your passes. You have no pedigree - and no career/future in the NFL. Sorry - don't slay the messenger.

I've been mentioning this for a while. He's still only 28 years old. He's two years removed from a 95 catch, 1250 yard, 9 TD season with Bledsoe. He's probably not as good as that year, but he's also not nearly as bad as he's been with the Falcons.

Funny how Crumpler and Finneran manage to catch Vick passes.

Peerless made hay when Moulds was doubled.

And his skills have deteriorated since then as well.
