Just a question to people here that know more about football than me. That hit on Dwayne Harris after the return, was it not a personal foul? He had stopped running was out of bounds and was basically just jogging it out. I dont know if thats a unsportsmanlike or not. Seemed like it too me

There were 2 fouls on that play. One on Harris getting hit out of bounds. Another on the bench for not being behind the line. Neither were called. Not a bit surprised either.

It should have been called.

It if was us on D it would have-no doubt.

Exactly right. They called Carter for a horsecollar because of the way Sproles went down, yet Harris gets hit two yards out of bounds. Obviously not blaming the officials, but the league stresses player safety, and they missed a blatant late hit.

A terrible non-call that didn't affect the outcome of the game in any way.

and whats with all the camera people around the end zone? that is ridiculous, its only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt, player or camera person.

I will not believe that the NFL brass has anything in mind other than putting more money in their pockets until that is changed.

Its easy for guys to get hurt running into cameramen and that sort of thing, but its also easy to get rid of them. The league never will do that though b/c those pictures make them money.

Just more evidence making the whole player safety thing completely superficial.

Was that even a horsecollar?

yep, and i guess theyre all nfl films guys, with those khaki vests. theyre shoulder to shoulder down there. but yeah i think all the new rules are for legal reasons, 'well look at all these safety rules we implemented'

It's to keep big name players on the field to sell tickets and jerseys and keep fantasy owners interested. Nothing more.

The legal thing is to avoid lawsuits and keep more money in their pockets.

Yep...but of course...no call.
