News: ESPN: Sources: Browns, Rams finalizing Myles Garrett blockbuster trade

This trade is a great trade for the Rams. They have the rest of the team and this is a key move for the playoffs. BUT as much as I like Stafford I’m not sure he can make it through another season with his back.

That is why they need to make sure they have a solid Backup. Their D is enough to carry them; as long as the O does not screw up.

Name me any other GM that has had 30+ years and not won a SB without getting fired.

Did you really think your replay was clever?
Yes I did. It’s just that it’s tiring hearing the same thing over and over. Trying to make it seem like the rams have some magic process. Why doesn’t everyone else do it? Then you’d have all 32 teams winning the Super Bowl every year. I give them credit but their luck in the draft will dry up just like every other team in the history of the NFL. And that’s not defending Jerry, but do you really need to suck off other teams? I’m sure there’s a rams forum for that.

To me the key to this trade is Matthew Stafford. Can he get through the year injury free in his 18th season?

If not, Myles Garrett won't matter. The Rams will be the Browns in nicer winter weather.

It’s Jerry Jones that has a “magic process”. He’s a Svengali to Cowboys fans. He’s selling an anniversary key chain for $65. The Rams’ GM has nothing on Jerry.

C'mom man, you can't be serious! JJ has been the LEAD joker of a GM in the NFL! Name me another GM that has been as lousy as our GM has been over the past 30yrs. You can't, because there aren't any!
I’m not defending Jerry. But those blanket statements just don’t work for me. A lot of luck involved and 32 teams competing against each other. Still doesn’t excuse how Jerry runs the team though.

Then it should never be excused.

People forget, the Cowboys have only implemented this team building Philosophy for the past 12-13 years, not 30. Before that, Jerry was trying to acquire every good player he could get. He didn't care about picks either. He's just not as good at it. They take much less risk now. The Rams are also not guaranteed anything.

I think is a good trade for the Browns. It could be good for the Rams or it could turn bad for them if Garrett gets injured just like Parsons did for the Packers.
