Penei Sewell

Take BPA if he’s it, take him. He can play LG in his first year if Smith comes back.

Unless there is a sure fire franchise QB there, give me trenches either side of ball. And yes I draft Lawrence so fast your head would spin.

He’s a star OT. He’ll probably be BPA at three.

Not what I want but he’s a phenomenal player.

i'd love it if he's the pick.
i also like alabama CB patrick surtain II...love to pair him with Diggs moving forward.
Sewell is becoming my guy.
i'd rather address Tyron's eventual replacement now...not later.
if Tyron is ready to roll...let Sewell play RT...move Collins inside to guard or vice versa.

I think this would be the pick.

If we can get actually be players in FA, we can fill a lot of holes on defense.

I'd love to put Collins back at LG, but I'm pretty sure he's said multiple times he has no desire to move back inside. He's also being paid like a OT. Id put Sewell next to Tyron, bump Williams to swing, and have the best OL in the league again.

I know we all want difference makers on defense, but I don't think their is a defender in this draft worth a top five pick. In fact, I don't think there are five players n this draft I want in the top-5. There are three.

If we do pick third and both QBs are gone, I'm not sure people wouldn't be burning up the phone lines to get him. He's a legitimate franchise OT. We may still be able to get a good trade back and then grab one of the defenders.

agree.
plus if Collins isn't ready...we're still set.

A trade back shouldn't eliminate taking a tackle.

Really want? No.
Best pick at three? Yes.

This^^^^but if we're at 3 it's not a reach to think whoever at 4 or 5 may want this kid bad enough offer 2022 1sr to move up 2 spots. The Dolphins for example may consider offering #7, 21 first (s), and 52 2nd to move from 7 to 3.

Not the Dolphins, they drafted tackles last year.

Though I agree with the idea that someone might.
