Pentagon Has ‘Off-World Vehicles Not Made on This Earth’

We examine animals in the wild all the time, as well as diseases, viruses, and microscopic organisms. We're not looking at them as friends.

Certainly not intentionally.
How many wild animals have one of our ships?

I think any species with the capability necessary to visit us would be able to keep us from getting our hands on their technology.

which is why i think these crashes are just that...honest-to-goodness crashes.
crap happens sometimes...even to them.
they are extra-terrestrials....not perfect-terrestrials.

i think some asteroids are derlict space craft...or deep space probes that have been out there for a long time...gathering dust.
maybe designed purposely to look like an asteroid.
hell...in star wars the death star looks like a moon or planet.
be something if george lucas got that idea from a late night phone call.

But I think they'd probably have a self destruct, like Predator, for just such an incident.

The Death Star was big and spherical. Other than that, it looked nothing like a moon or planet.........but, I recently had the thought that if another species wanted to invade us, hitching a ride on a comet, like Neowize would be both tactical and economical.

it looked like it had a crater on its side.
to me,any way.

unless they sent out a new crew...just learnin this !@#$.

Some one sent a prob to earth? They've probably been watching us through a super sized telescope for decades.

A question I always have when I think about things like alien invasions is how economical would that really be to them.

I could see an alien species having mining interests. But even that alone without hauling a fleet to our solar system might not be economical

That's why they'd take us as slaves.

Honestly, the mining interests are probably less important than you'd think. Everything the Earth is made of can be found in asteroids and other bodies with less gravity, making them much easier to mine, without having to escape Earth's gravity.

Im talking more in solar system in general. Id figure the moon or asteroid belt

Oh, I'm not necessarily saying this is the correct context, but I suppose it's possible they're saying they possess materials created in some type of liquid atmosphere. It seems unlikely, but as I said, it seems more plausible than the alternative.

Vehicle could mean a conveyance. An asteroid or meteor can be accurately called a vehicle since they do convey something, be it microbial lifeforms or minerals.

OK. My definition of 'vehicle' has 'occupants'.

As in:

"a thing used for transporting people or goods"

In microbiology the word vehicle is used to describe a way a microbe or pathogen has entered into the body.

In the context of the quote in question it’s apropos...they’ve collected materials sourced from “off-world” vehicles from space.

Aliens did visit us and said they’d return once the Cowboys went back to the Super Bowl.

Don’t hold your breath for their subsequent return.

There's always the possibility that they're visitors from alternate Earths.... maybe from one where the dinosaurs weren't wiped out...which means 65 million years of extra evolution to develop the science and tech....and become small grey humanoids.

Not that I believe it, but they don't have to come from outside the solar system and thus develop FTL travel or detect us. They may be Sliders.
