People need to look at the bright side of last weeks loss...

Everyone who is still complaining about how we performed needs to think of it in the following manner:

We have film to look at now that shows our players messing up in every conceivable way practically. It is better that this failure come early then late, and better that we have SMART football players that can correct these mistakes. We will not fail this badly again as far as execution goes.

And yes, other teams have this tape also, but they can only exploit the flaws that they see on tape, hoping that they will still be flaws. We can fix those flaws and burn them for their failed attempts.

You will see in the coming weeks. The OL is as driven to succeed (Perhaps more so) than any other unit on the team because of the crap that gets slung (sometimes rightfully so) at them regularly.

Edit: Please correct the spelling mistake in the title. I pulled a Dargonking... ;-)

worse part of the loss is had we won everyone and there brother would be saying how amazing the ware fumble recovery was and it would have made top ten lists and now I haven't seen it mentioned at all.

Flozell Adams has 9 years under his belt and he still hasn’t learned to block down on blitzes? Bledsoe sees a guy coming at him full speed and still attempts to throw the ball, getting his arm hit (twice). Teams run stunts and we can’t block them because our defense never runs them in practice. We have a 25 million dollar decoy because the head coach doesn’t like him. Watkins and Williams are clueless in coverage. Some of these things i don’t know if they can be fixed.

They could won the game and still have learned about all those flaws in the game.

Exactly, Everlastingxxx.

Bravo.

I find it inconceivable that there is a team in the league that didn't know Bledsoe was immobile and hated pressure up the middle. Having film now won't be anything new.

I just have a hard time finding a bright side to having your *** handed to you by your arch-rival on national television in the most hyped game since the Superbowl. Maybe I'm missing something.

Bright side of last week?

One game closer to the end of the Bledsoe/Parcells era.

Thank you for pointing that out. In my funk, I couldn't see a bright side.

The thing that I can look to as a positive is the fact that we turned the ball over twice in the first 5 minutes of this game, (once on our own 12 and once on our own 29) basically spotting the Eagles 10 points, and still managed to be in position to win the game. We actually went in to the locker room up by 4 at the half. We were tied at 24 late into the 4th quarter. We fought back and made enough plays to over come a 10 point deficate against a pretty good team. We lost and we deserved to lose but we could easily have won that game. More to the point, the Eagles did not let us back into the game. We played our way back into the game with plays made. That, to me, is significant. We will not play in more difficult place this year. Philly, in this setting, is as tough as it gets in the NFL. I can look at that and take stock from it. We are not a championship team at this point but we are definatly better then we were last year. Totally agreed. The game was ours for the taking and the Eagles coaching staff knows that just as much as we do. The difference is the Eagles executed the big plays and we didn't.

I didn't know those were judged on a 10 point scale. What is the criteria? Smell, size,...?

I thought the same thing! :D Except, since he spelled it wrong, I won't give him any crap about it...

Do you really? :lmao:

We're 2-2, that's the only bright side I can take from it. And we dropped a game on the road at least.
