There were many folks who jumped off the bandwagon like they have never watched football before or like romo isn't the QB with the most 4th quarter comeback wins since 2006.
my reply is we won
a win is a win, i stand by that. Lets just be proud of the fact we won due to the gift of the Giants. Yes we werent pretty, yes this team except for winning, i dont see teh defense many proclaimed we had. I dont see the offense many proclaimed we had and right now, i still dont know why the team didnt fly to Alaska to make teh ST coach walk home. That aside we won, yes, you have it easier. The defense isnt as good as advertised yet. The offensive line did play as others said it would. I did defer to a few posters who told me the offensive line would be just as good under Pollack, kudos to them. Prior to injuries, the team wasnt helping themselves, something has to land at Garretts feet, but Linehan didnt impress me tonight, but ok. I dont know why we keep Beasley. Ive been done iwht him long ago. Did Lawerence do anything? Crawford was good. Mo was good. I still dont believe in our safeties. So i can provide the way i feel, can you do better than "we won"? Did you honestly have faith that if your money was on the line (not that i gambled) that the team would have won?
Before the game would you look at the weaknesses of the GIants and not scream "exploit them" We choose to keep the GIants in the game play after play. Could you provide any information to the fact that not just the mere fact Eli and company had a big faux pax that the Cowboys would capatlize teh way they were playing?
ohh come on.... We were incredibly lucky to pull that one out.
And, no one forces you to "listen"
I said the Cowboys were going to lose. Being down 0-3 in turnovers historically means you win only 7% of the time. Happy to be wrong!!
O-line dominated all night long. Romo barely touched.
You miss the last two Cowboy offensive possessions? Luck? Yah, right.
The game was over, but thanks to the Giants stupid play call throwing on third down when Dallas has no timeouts, could have run out most of the clock.....
.. and the Giants had the lead due to the gift of the Cowboys ..
we had 3 turnovers. a gift of a PI call....
The Giants aren't that good; Play like that against the better teams, and we ................................................................Lose;
It was a good win. But I dont feel so good about the team going forward....
we played sloppy. you can debate that til the cows come home but Dallas should NOT have been that sloppy. What gift did the Cowboys give them other than ebing sloppy and the Giants capitalizing where we stood there watching them? we should have put the game away early, yes i know its division and its never that easy, but if anyone really beleivved last year we were a 12-4 team, than cleaning up on a hurt Giants team should have been a given. The onus was on us to win. the mere fact the giants kept it close and should have pulled it off iis more a testament to their coaches. They took weaknesses and made them strengths. Rod made his unit work and except for a few plays, really did well considering. If teh Giants just take the sack, we lose, or the whole ending goes faster. It was a bigger gift by Eli to forget how many time outs we had left and he said as much. Which play from the Cowboys really said "what the bleep just happened" except for the sloppiness?
