The girl who saved my life could still be alive today somewhere, but I don't know enough to be able to track her down. If I could, I would certainly thank her. I'm alive today because she was alert and took quick action when she saw that I was in trouble.

Your turn. Is there someone from your past whom you would thank if you could?

I'd really love to thank my Dad for being an awesome father. He passed from a stroke suddenly last week.

Speaking of saving lives, I wonder if two kids I saved years ago think this about me. When I was 13 I was walking down a busy street to go see if any new comics arrived at the local convenience store. I came upon a driveway where a brother and sister under 10 had played in their parents car and took it out of gear. They were screaming and got behind the car to try to prevent it from rolling into the busy street. They were going to to get run over and pushed into the busy street. I sprinted to the car, jumped in and hit the brake. I wonder where they are now.

Sorry about your dad. Nothing's tougher than that.

And thanks for saving those kids' lives. As long as they don't have some kind of memory impairment, I can guarantee you that they think about you.

Whomever made the decision for Circle K’s new coffee machines. It’s straight espresso coming out for single servings...mix with Hershey’s hot chocolate next machine over...stir,presto magic you have a rich bold frothy mocha for $1,89 made to order, way you want it for the road in a jiffy. Bless those wonderful beautiful people..may their children live to be a thousand years old!
