The only way to get rid of Snyder is not buying merchandise and attending games. What's disheartening is he could be around 30 plus more years as owner.

Thread title at the Extremes:

"I won't support Snyder. Please ban me."

:lmao2:

This is one of the funnier posts I've read in a long time. Love the second paragraph! Note: he's not saying he's no longer a Commander fan, just that he will no longer support Danny Boy. Here's post:

Here is my first and last self-created thread.
I'll always be a fan, but I'll support Snyder no longer. He'll get no more of my cash and until he sells the team I'll never type Commanders.com again. If he owns it I won't touch it. I'll get my info elsewhere. I'm not upset anymore. I've made my peace.

O' Mods hear my cry!
Smite me with your mighty ban-hammer. Let its glorious heft swing low and hard so that it might crush my wicked skull but also brush lightly past the righteous so as to dissuade any transgressive thoughts they might be contemplating.
Amen.

Let the childish jeering and name calling begin!

Oh, you guys have so much hope for the future, though. He might even break an 80 QB rating next season!

Back to the message boards. I almost started down the road to setting up a registered “account” so I could start mosh-pitting with the Commander masses.

Then… I read the “Rules and Regulations” page.

Holy gawd! Are you kidding me?

I had to print it out first, take a nap, and then re-read it all to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Then I called my attorney, just to make sure I couldn’t be actually incarcerated for violating any message board policies.

This passage was especially chilling..

“When a member violates a rule, the ES Staff will make an effort to contact them, via Private Message and/or e-mail, to address the issue privately. Each violation carries its own set of penalties; some more serious than others. Duplicate accounts are prohibited, and the staff employs security measures to enforce this policy.”

Does Extreme Skins have it’s own police force? Paramilitary? Private eyes? Will they search my trash if I violate a policy? How strident can I be in critiquing the team. If I legitimately think the owner is suffocating the process of winning football games by way of his ego, isn’t that fair comment?

In sum, I do think there are plenty of thoughtful, rational Commanders fans who participate at Extreme Skins, and make some good points. But when you live under the reign specter of “penalties, some more seriously than others” how open and free of a sports dialogue can you have?

personally I love this. Love it.

Now if the Eagles would get an owner as bad as Snyder (Or even better one like Al Davis) I'd be so happy.

As for Steve coming there...probably, but that is assuming the guy is actually going to want to come to Washington and work for one of the worst, and most idiotic, owners in the league.

If I was Steve I'd do what Jason did with Baltimore and Atlanta and say "Thanks, but no thanks."

I'm ok with what is going on on the defensive side. Blatche is great, and we've kept all of our assistants. Joe Bugel is staying as our Oline coach, so that's a positive. But I don't see the Zorn move as very good, and it seems strange to have the staff in place before the HC. Still, the news that the entire defensive staff, minus Williams, is staying somewhat brightens my day.

I have to agree with the defensive coach. You kept the best part of your team in tact as far as the coaching goes on the D side of the ball.

I have always perceived Greg Williams as a slimy arrogant guy. Just a gut feeling on my part as I have nothing to back it up but he just looks like a guy that was willing to go behind peoples backs.

There was a report that in 2006 someone asked Williams why Carlos Rogers was playing so far from the line of scrimmage, and Williams blamed Rogers, but Snyder later found out that was how the coaches were telling Rogers to play.

Danny Snyder isbeginning to rival Al Davis for the title of Mao Zedong of the NFL.

It seems every few years he has a Cultural Revolution-sort of offseason (meaning constant revolution), allowing no continuity to build. The closest thing he had was the Gibbs era.

Now he's blown it up. Enjoy the basement of the NFC East next year, Skins fans. This division is too tough to do something drastic like this and expect to do anything of note the next season.

so much for continuity
I'm a pretty big proponent of continuity, and I think this sets the Skins back a couple years.
