Per Jerry Jones..."An indictment of the entire organization"

Has the Eagle, Giant and Saint games at home have exposed this organization for flat out missing on several high draft picks and FAs? I mean seriously, Dallas has been building for this run for 10+ years and here is the organization with home statement type of games getting it handed to them on three seperate occasions. Losses are one thing, but losing like that is entirely another. As BP said "not competitive".

This is an honest question on my part, as I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet, but I fear there are serious personel issues on defense where it will be difficult to fix given the commitment already to that side of the ball. Really, outside of Ware, Newman, Ferguson and maybe Henry/Aydole, I don't feel real confident in this units future success.

The scary thing is, defense is where this organizations dollars and resources have gone. I sure hope I'm over reacting, as this is clearly an issue that could affect the next several years.

JJ said it in a post game interview....its a direct quote.

Yeah, I just found it

"I'm as disgusted as I've been in years," Jones said as he held court in the center of the Dallas postgame locker room. "A game like this indicts us at the top, just straight through. It's just disappointing."

So when JJ says "a game like this indicts us at the top", what he means is, "I'm at the top, and I'm to blame". Correct? I mean, he is president, CEO and GM - doesn't that constitute the top? I ask because his quote sounds like he's refering to Parcells and not himself.

This is one situation that I want Jerry Jones to be the meddling owner because its obvious the players have lost faith in their coaches.

Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

The Cowboys have not been gearing up for this "run" for 10+ years. This is a ridiculous statement. This is organization began building the right way back in 2003 when Parcells got here.

Just asking a question. It seemed to me that he was deflecting blame by saying "I'm as disgusted as I've been in years". When someone says that, they generally aren't talking about themselves unless they say so. If they are, you'd hear something like "We are all culpable, and that includes me".

If I were Parcells, I'd take it as a direct body blow from my boss at my job performance.

Yeah, I'll go with the careful what you wish for sentiment also. Jerry's idea's of coaches to follow Johnson were a disaster for this team.

Not that I don't blame Parcells for these collosal meltdowns, and I do hope Jerry is directing some heat his way, but I'd rather not see him return to form and start bringing in bozo yes men.

no, he was being PC for pointing the finger to the person responsible, Mr. Parcells

Every team misses every once in awhile on something...this team is loaded, especially on the defensive side of the ball...unfortunately the master chef's recipe's have all gone bad

Agreed, the talent is here...it's the horrific coaching that is the issue.

Replace BP and his box of tools for a coaching staff with Cowher and his guys and this team is home and cooled out in the East.

The 10-year comment was somewhat sarcastic, as I agree this current unit has been built by Parcells, but this organization has done nothing meaningful for over 10 years. That's not good.

I mean no ill will, but there is one owner I'd rather have...And in time we will have. Stephen Jones.

I'll feel safer when he takes over. I really believe he knows how to win.

If Parcells leaves...I'm scared to death of what may happen if Jerry goes back to his old ways.
