Has the Eagle, Giant and Saint games at home have exposed this organization for flat out missing on several high draft picks and FAs? I mean seriously, Dallas has been building for this run for 10+ years and here is the organization with home statement type of games getting it handed to them on three seperate occasions. Losses are one thing, but losing like that is entirely another. As BP said "not competitive".

This is an honest question on my part, as I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet, but I fear there are serious personel issues on defense where it will be difficult to fix given the commitment already to that side of the ball. Really, outside of Ware, Newman, Ferguson and maybe Henry/Aydole, I don't feel real confident in this units future success.

The scary thing is, defense is where this organizations dollars and resources have gone. I sure hope I'm over reacting, as this is clearly an issue that could affect the next several years.

an inditement of entire organization.........

Consider this a shot across the bow to Parcells. This is the first time I have heard Jerry say anything negative about Parcells. I know he did not come out directly and metion Tuna by name, by it is pretty clear what Jerry is talking about.

If we are on and done in the playoffs, I really doubt Parcells is coming back.

That is my take on it, maybe I am wrong here, but it just sounds like a warning shot to Parcells in my opinion.:)

Did anybody hear what Jerry said on the ticket? Norm asked him if he was happy with TOs production and Jerry said ”NO”. Then later Jerry was talking about how he isn’t afraid of change and used the example of hiring Bill. Really came across that Jerry is going to do some house cleaning. Where was TB with the recap? lol.

no, he was being PC for pointing the finger to the person responsible, Mr. Parcells

Every team misses every once in awhile on something...this team is loaded, especially on the defensive side of the ball...unfortunately the master chef's recipe's have all gone bad

OMG David that last paragraph is too funny. Im gonna steal that if ya don't mind ;-)

This is one situation that I want Jerry Jones to be the meddling owner because its obvious the players have lost faith in their coaches.

If you desire this you desire similar results of '00, '01, '02 seasons, thats what you will get. :bang2:

Ten huge ones spent on a game changer who hasn't performed to his billing.

"entire organization" yet someone wants to break it down to 1 person they don't care for and try to read too much into the verbiage.

makes ya wonder, huh nc?

I know Jerry has to be frustrated, but don't think there is any way he is firing BP. He will do whatever it takes to get this thing going in the right direction, but I can't see an overhaul unless he could see all the pieces coming together perfectly.

Meaning, a truly accomplished Head coach with a staff available that could come in from day one and not go backwards at all.

That said, Peyton has turned NO around in 1 season so maybe he will look at that and say it is possible, but I just don't see it.

I see the defensive staff being overhauled first.

The smartest thing I have read in two days was some one who blames the coaches as well as the players. I can't see it any simpler than that.

It's going to be interesting to see where the Saints go in the play offs. Also as interesting to see where the end up next season. They could very well be one year wonders.

oh i agree. that pile of wretched refuse we watched yesterday could only be achieved with everyone working as a team to be as bad as they could be.

one guy trying to win woulda really screwed that effort up.

My thoughts exactly, how can you not hold the coaching accountable. The lack of preparation, fire, determination, smarts, urgency is an indictment of the coaching staff and some of the cadre of players that want to mail their effort in.

If some of you are implying that JJ is going to go back to the days of coaching by proxy through a weak head coach then I think you are off base. The reason he brought in Parcells is because he (Jones) knew what he was doing wasn't working.
The move to Parcells was the right philosophical switch, just not the right coach, in hindsight.

Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

sorry Mick, but Jones gave Parcells 4 years and everything he wanted...he's had total control of coaching staff, free agency and the draft

we're still mediocre...we still get killed in every big game we come across, even when we're at home...the defense (supposedly what he is good at) is horrendous with the scheme and the players he wanted

he just cant get it done...its time to move on and try it with somebody else...Parcells is where Vince Lombardi was when he came back with the Skins...he's where Landry was in 1988...he's where Shula and Ditka were when they were dumped...the game has passed them by...there is absolutely nothing Parcells can do to make us a championship team

So when JJ says "a game like this indicts us at the top", what he means is, "I'm at the top, and I'm to blame". Correct? I mean, he is president, CEO and GM - doesn't that constitute the top? I ask because his quote sounds like he's refering to Parcells and not himself.

You dont think Jerry will fire himself? do you? the only person at the top is him and BP!!!

Jerry Jones is not going to publically single out Parcells so he generically included everyone. And to some degree I believe he is sincere about that. He helped finalize those decisions that Parcells generated.

How could it be the players and then just Jerry Jones.
