Per Josina Anderson MM issues with being hired

Considering we hire way later than everyone else we typically get the leftovers.
which leads to a gamble of a coach, and then leads to the coach selling it to Jerry that he's the next great coach, and Jerry cries like a baby

After dealing with the structure in Dallas, I don't blame Big Mike at all. Loomis and Ireland haven't been setting the world on fire with their player selection of late. So, I'd ask for more input if I were McCarthy, too.

Mike is just looking for most likely a 5 year deal for one last pay day. With Carr at QB however that team is a mess

But but MM is a QB whisper, knows how to win championships, and he likes the food there, a match made in heaven, he has his PJs all packed for a interview follow up.

You could be right. It may be the length of the deal and the last pay day that is being stressed to his agent.

Being unemployed isn't hard when you are a millionaire.
Very very untrue, not close to being true at all. When u live in a cardboard box it’s quite easy to be unemployed, Think about it!

Takes balls to be unemployed rather than take a bad deal. Jerral probably offered nothing of substance and no guarantees of player quality and it appears the Saints are operating the same way.

McCarthy has probably made like 30 million dollars or more during his career.

If it were me I would be traveling all over the world and enjoying life at that age.

Mike McCarthy knew his days in Dallas were numbered when Jerry wasted a costly 4th round pick to trade for the BUST in Trey Lance before even discussing it at all with McCarthy. Plus, Jerry resigning burned and ineffective Zeke before the 2024 season started, instead of drafting a RB during the 2024 season, pretty much cemented 2024 would be McCarthy’s last year as Cowboys head coach.

we were lead to believe it wasn't as usual bro

On January 7, 2020, McCarthy was announced as the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. McCarthy signed a five-year deal with the Cowboys estimated between $4-$7 million annually. That's just from the Cowboys alone.

Yes. My 30 million is probably an underestimate. I was just having trouble finding his pay from Green Bay online.

But considering he was their head coach for a decade. If he was even making 2-3 million dollars a year……. Yeah McCarthy doesn’t need to make anymore money. lol

At least they may add the best back in the draft this year and they have already improved the team by cutting Zeke.

Don't need to draft Jeanty. Very good RBs who will be available in the 3rd round. Cowboys should trade down from #12 into the mid 20s while picking up an extra 2nd or 3rd & 5th round picks. Cowboys need more draft picks.

Watch him lose the job to Kellen Moore, that guy he didn’t want in Dallas because he said he scores too quickly, while Moore also just ended up putting 55 on the scoreboard in the NFC conference championship…

I hope you keep thinking Kellen Moore is that good of an coordinator. You'll see what he really is when he doesn't have that top ten quarterback, best offensive line, best running back and best receiving corp. Do you realize that 90% of the NFL's offensive coordinators can be effective with this Eagles offense and number one defense to lean on?

Kellen Moore is a decent offensive coordinator at best. The Eagles made it to the Superbowl without him while he was coordinating the Chargers offense and looking like trash while doing it.

I think if Jeanty is there at 12 they would take him. I think he would be bpa. I would think he would be around 6 or 7 on their board.
