The Cowboys participated in the highest-rated regular-season games last year on CBS, NBC, ESPN and Fox.

Well no duh.

You either love the Boys or you hate them and either way you're going to tune in game-after-game.

That must be why we have SEVEN "national" games this year-- the six night games, and Thanksgiving Day...

If this keeps up, pretty soon I won't need to fork over for NFL Sunday Ticket... all the Cowboys games will be national games... :D

actually barry horn the tv guy for the dallas morning news posted the cowboys numbers last year after every game and they were incredible.

It's like Howard Stern said about his listeners. My fans listen 2 hours a day, my enemies listen 4 hours a day. :D

What would the NFL be like without the Cowboys? Cowboy haters would say that it would be a step up, but the networks (a.k.a. the guys who dole out the billion dollar television deals) would probably say that it would be a huge step back. Dallas is so media-friendly that it can field a losing team and still rake in rating points. What other team can make that claim? That's a true example of universal popularity in a nutshell.

I get FOX NY and FOX philly. So besides the NFL Network games, ill probably see the Cowboys almost every week

What about the NFLN game against the Falcons? Was it their highest rated of the year?

Cowboys fans that frequent Extremeskins keep this thread near by. The whining will start pretty soon.

No, the Thanksgiving Night game between the Broncos and Chiefs got a 4.2 rating. Our game against Atlanta got a 4.1. None of the other games topped a 3.0 rating.

I live in CT and get those NYC channels, one of those two games was played on Fox in Hartford, Ct, which I also get. The last game was on the NFL channel which I get becuase of DirectTV. I also purchased the Sunday ticket for $150. Ironically the only game I would have missed (without NFL ticket) is the game on the NFL channel, which I ended watching at my GF's (Sat. night against the Falcons) becuase she has Comcast and they carry it.

I remember hearing it on Galloway. I bet they have somebody read this board :D

It'll be the same next season although that Pats Chargers game might be highly viewed.
