sudden death is what we have now if it can end up there anyway just keep it after 4. a 5th quarter is just too long and too much potential for injury.

you would take out field goals cause if the teams have already had two possessions each and they kick field goals then they can obviously get in range, you want to see who is the better team so you make them get into the endzone.

or if you want on the third possession you make it sudden death. at that point both teams have had an opportunity to best the other.

coin flip. team 1 gets it then team 2 gets a rebuttal. if still tied team 2 gets it then team 1 gets a rebuttal. 3rd possession team 1 gets it and its sudden death.
