I would think that if a player is not under contract, that it is not pampering...only if players are currentlly under contract with another team would it be so.

He is under contract until 3/11/06 at 12:01 AM when FA starts.. Unless the Saints gave him permission to shop around or have alrady released him, then this would be considered tampering.

I said you never (or rarely) hear reports such as this Bentley/Eagles report, with the cowboys.

I heard Eskin on the way to work, he said that the Eagles probably would have Garcia and Bentley in on Saturday, But he didn't confirm it, only guessing about it.
